The Gene Seed is arguably the most awkward item in all of Dimension Number 2. It's a small pink and blue seed that, when eaten, will change the gender of the user's current form. It will only change the gender of the user's current form and not the second, third, however many other forms they have. It will also boost that form's power by 15% permantenly.
The Gene Seed will not have any effect on "genderless" Pokemon (this includes legendaries), or Pokemon that can only be one gender.
