Parabucks (¶) are the main unit of currency in the world of Dimension Number 2. They function exactly like currency would in the real world; they can be used in the exchange of items with other Pokemon.
It is unknown where or how Parabucks are minted, but it is rumored that they come from the Creator himself, and they are then shipped to the many banks of each primary city.
Parabucks are distributed to employees as their employers see fit; however, humans that do not have actual jobs are said to have an occupation of "traveler" and are paid a small, gradual salary by the Creator, directly into the human's pocket. They won't even know it's there until they check.
